Monday

That's the day we should get our good faith estimates and find out what exactly is possible. The appraisal was done yesterday, but it didn't get back to the financing people. So, they'll take a look on Monday and get back to us with what's going on. We should know soon, but that's what we've been thinking all along. It would be nice to have something concrete to know and think, instead of being left to wonder all the time.

I realized that I haven't posted a picture in a while, so I'll do that now. This is the master bedroom. If we get the house, the plastic lamps are outta there.

  1. Ya know- pretty much every home acquisition that I know of- personal experience, etc. has something winky happen. We had the paint it or don't get the loan- in January- in Montana- or else...escrow, etc. Brings out the whole meant to be thingy. But it also brings out the support network. These are wonderful to discover- and great to take advantage of. Because we give you permission. We like it. Really.

It's funny - the shape of that window, with the green light coming through - when I first saw it in the small picture I thought it was an inset aquarium, like the kind they have in some Chinese restaurants.

    Good luck, you two!
